 Started Martial Art training at Charleston AFB
Charleston, SC – December 1971.
1972
 May – Made Yellow Belt from Master Rhee in Washington D.C.

August – Went to RAF Lakenheath, Great Britain.
where he studied under Master Chom-Son Cho.
1973
 Kuk Sool Won Instructor, Master Mok-Yang Kim comes to
Great Britain in March 1973 and Opens a Kuk Sool School
at Mildenhall RAF Air base.
December 1973 – Jerry Sallee opens a Kuk Sool Club
at Lakenheath RAF Air Base (as a Blue Belt)
1975
 Awarded 1st Degree Black Belt From Master Mok-Yang Kim
in August, before leaving Great Britain to come home
to Fort Smith, AR
1976
 December 1975 – opens a Kuk Sool School at the Girls Club
on Old Greenwood Road, moving to the Girls Club
on North 9th Street in August 1976
1979
 Opens a Kuk Sool School in Downtown Van Buren.
1984
 Opens A Kuk Sool School in Fort Smith,
at the corner of 11th and Grand Ave.
1989
 July – Promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt.
August – Begins attending U. of A. Fayetteville College.
1990–1991
 Janurary 1990 – Opens Kuk Sool School at 177½ North 9th St.
October 1991 – Promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt, Houston TX
1993–1996
 May 1993 – Graduates from U. of A., Fayetteville, BSE Degree.
May 1995 – Teaches Kuk Sool at Fort Smith Racket Club
October 1996 – Promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt, Houston TX
1998
 August – Started Teaching Kuk Sool at Westark College.
Taught Course Titled, “Beginning Martials Arts”

September – Featured in Inside Karate Magazine.
Name of the Article, “Defense against Multiple Attackers”
2002

March – received Lifetime Achievement Award
from Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee
also in March, received a Commemorative Sword
in appreciation from his students at U. of A., Fort Smith.
August  – Westark Becomes a 4 year University, now U.A.F.S.
October – Promoted to 5th Degree Black Belt {Master Level}
in Gyeong Ju, South Korea. Also part of the Masters' Exhibition, concluding a spectacular 2-day Tournament.
2008

October – Promoted to 6th Degree Black Belt in Houston, TX.

This took part during the 50 year anniversary celebration event.
2014

October – Promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt in Houston, TX.
